It utilizes an industrial-grade AC servo motor that offers an extremely low drift rate and a load capacity of 100 kg. The mount integrates high rigidity, high responsiveness, and backlash-free transmission technology, ensuring outstanding performance during long-duration observations and high-load operations. High Precision Control The SFE400 is equipped with an industrial-grade AC servo motor and comes with a 23-bit optical encoder, providing a pulse resolution of up to 8.388 million. It is standardly equipped with a Renishaw optical encoder with a resolution of 23.6 million, supporting unguided tracking for over 6 minutes, effectively reducing dependency on external guiding equipment. The closed-loop control system of the motor and encoder ensures the device can precisely track celestial positions, keeping jitter under 0.2 arc seconds. Gapless Transmission The SFE400 employs friction transmission technology to achieve zero backlash characteristics, significantly enhancing operational stability and response speed. The RA axis uses a 40:1 single-stage direct friction reduction, while the DEC axis combines a harmonic reducer with a synchronous belt drive system. Even under heavy load conditions, the equipment maintains high-precision control and smooth responsiveness. High Load Capacity and Rigidity The SFE400 features large friction disks made from high-strength metal materials, ensuring excellent rigidity and compressive strength under heavy loads, with a maximum payload diameter of up to 24 inches. Sealing and Dust Protection The friction transmission components of the SFE400 are protected by a fully enclosed cover, effectively preventing dust intrusion.
